Traditional Chateaubriand

Judge's comments:

"This is a visually striking fillet of beef, cut well so that the meat fibres are perfect for slicing and serving. The aroma of the cooked meat is fresh and delicate. The sliced meat is juicy and tender, no evidence of oily fattiness. The fibres melt in the mouth. There is a lovely balanced delicate flavour, umami meatiness - it needs nothing to enhance it further."

Scottish Creel Caught Lobster Tails

Judge's comments:

"The lobster tails looked really appealing served in the shell, and the luxury feel was there from the start. The lobster aromas were fresh and appetising and the flavour sweet, as you would hope from lobster tails…These lobster tails are striking in appearance and would be amazing presented at a home dinner party! Extremely tender in texture."

Alpine Fries

Judge's comments:

"These are enticing, moreish rustic sticks with a pleasing crunch and chew and good balance of salt. A nice twist on traditional fries. These are evenly sized and shaped, enticingly golden in colour. The aroma is clean and enticing….the coating has remained crisp."
