Flattened, tender chicken breasts in a peri peri glaze that brings just the right kick of heat. Enjoy chilli, accompanied by the added warmth from the spices and a dash of citrus freshness. Pair with a vibrant homemade Mango, Apple & Chilli Salsa and soft flatbreads for a lighter summer meal, full of flavour.
HOW TO STORE
- Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C or below
- Defrost: Defrost in refrigerator overnight. Do not re-freeze once defrosted
- Shelf life defrosted: Store in refrigerator and use within 24 hours
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Cooking guidelines from defrosted: remove from packaging and leave at room temperature for 15 minutes prior to cooking.
Panfry: preheat a heavy based frying pan or griddle pan on a medium - high setting, once hot add a little oil then the chicken, cook for 6-7 minutes or until cooked through, turn occasionally & be careful not to burn the coating.
Grill: preheat grill on a high setting. Place chicken breast in a shallow tray, drizzle lightly with oil and cook on the middle shelf for 7-8 minutes, turn carefully halfway through the cooking time, take care not to burn the coating.
Ensure the chicken is piping hot throughout, and the juices run clear when the thickest part is pierced with a skewer, if not keep cooking for another minute and check again.
Once cooked remove from the pan / tray, cover loosely with foil and leave to rest for 2- 3 minutes before serving.
Ensure product is fully cooked & piping hot throughout.
