"This looks appetising and juicy and has a very a very good mature beef flavour. It is lean and has a good aftertaste. The judges tasted it in patty form with no seasoning, and it had a fantastic flavour.

The mince is juicy and full of flavour which veers into a pleasingly farmyard dimension. The producer has done a good job here, delivering a delicious mince with the ideal level of grind to make it really versatile."

"This is a visually striking fillet of beef, cut well so that the meat fibres are perfect for slicing and serving. The aroma of the cooked meat is fresh and delicate. The sliced meat is juicy and tender, no evidence of oily fattiness. The fibres melt in the mouth. There is a lovely balanced delicate flavour, umami meatiness - it needs nothing to enhance it further."
