At Donald Russell, all of our grass-fed British lamb is expertly matured for depth of flavour, then hand-prepared by our butchers in Aberdeenshire. You can order online and have your lamb roast delivered straight to your door, ready for Christmas Day.

Our lamb joints serve between 2 and 8 people, depending on the cut. You’ll find detailed serving information for each product on our website.

Every product includes specific defrosting and cooking instructions online and on the packaging. As a general rule, defrost your lamb slowly in the refrigerator according to the time required (please note that your roast will require 12 - 15 hours of defrosting time per kilogram of meat), and bring it to room temperature before roasting, and always rest before serving for the juiciest results.

For safety and ideal tenderness, lamb should reach an internal temperature of at least 55°C for medium or 65°C for well done.
