Sweet and tender Queen Scallops crusted in a crispy panko crumb make an exciting festive canape. The panko provides a delightful crunch for the succulent scallops to create the perfect blend of textures and flavours. For the best results, deep fry for a crispy coating.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Cooking guidelines from frozen.
For best results deep fry: preheat oil to 175°C
Remove scallops from the packaging and carefully place into the hot oil and fry for up to four minutes until golden, crispy and cooked through.
Once cooked lift out and drain on some folded kitchen paper. Serve immediately.
Grill from frozen: preheat grill on a high heat.
Oil a flat baking sheet add the scallops in a single layer and brush them with oil.
Cook on the middle shelf of the grill for 5 minutes. Remove from the grill turn carefully and add more oil if required so they fry lightly, cook for a further 4-5 minutes until fully cooked. Serve immediately. Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat once cooked.
