
Hot Smoked Peppered Mackerel
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Smoked Mackerel Fillets
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tsp lemon juice
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6.
- Place the Mackerel Fillets onto a square of aluminum foil, smear with butter and pour over the lemon juice.
- Fold the foil together at the top and crimp around the edges to make a sealed parcel.
- Place on a baking tray and cook for 10 minutes.Remove from oven and gently transfer the Mackerel Fillets to a hot plate.
- Serve on a bed of tagliatelle and pour over lemon and chive sauce or serve on top of creamy mashed potatoes with rocket.
