Our Beef Wellington includes rich, tender, grass-fed British beef fillet matured for up to 28 days, with a generous layer of earthy mushroom duxelles, hand-rolled in our Aberdeenshire butchery with a decorated puff pastry.

Our 1.1kg Beef Wellington, serving four and designed for sharing, makes an attractive centrepiece for any dinner table. Or you can opt for our individually portioned Beef Wellingtons (2-Start Great Taste Award-Winning) to make up the perfect plate, also available as part of our Dine in for Two for a delicious, easy, pre-prepared dinner.

Our Wellingtons are delivered frozen, like all of our products.

This means you can add it straight to your freezer until you’re ready to cook, or you can stick it in the fridge until it thaws and cook within 24 hours.

Our Beef Wellington, which serves four and makes for an ideal centrepiece, is to be cooked from defrosted (defrost for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge). Preheat oven to 210°C / fan 200°C / gas 6 along with a baking tray. Brush pastry with beaten egg yolk. Place the Wellington (still on baking paper with all other packaging removed) onto the preheated baking tray and cook for:

  • Rare: 30-33 minutes
  • Medium: 40-43 minutes
  • Well done: 50-53 minutes

  • Remove from the oven and rest for 10 minutes before serving. To serve, carefully lift the Wellington from the baking paper and slice into 1½ - 2cm slices.
