Enjoy effortless cooking with our Whole Chicken with Sage and Caramelised Onion Stuffing. This beautiful bird is oven-ready and pre-stuffed with a fragrant sage and sweet caramelised onion mix, bringing a touch of luxury to your roast dinner. Crafted for convenience, this whole chicken leaves you more time to enjoy with your loved ones, and is a hassle-free addition to your family table that delivers flavour in every bite.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Cooking guidelines from defrosted: allow product to defrost for up to 48 hours in the fridge. Once fully defrosted remove from the fridge and leave at room temperature for 30 minutes prior to cooking.
Preheat oven to 190°C / fan 170°c / gas mark 5. Leave the chicken in the roasting bag and place it breast side up into a shallow baking tray, ensure the bag in not touching the skin.
Cook on the middle shelf for 22 -24 minutes per 450g, remove from the oven, turn the oven up to 220°C fan.
Whilst the oven is heating, carefully remove the chicken from the roasting bag. Be careful of escaping steam. Place the chicken back into tray, baste, then return it to the hot oven for a further for 5-10 minutes until fully cooked.
Ensure the chicken and stuffing are piping hot throughout and the juices run clear when the thickest parts are pierced with a skewer. Once fully cooked, cover loosely with foil, and leave to rest in a warm place for at least 15 minutes before serving.
