Product description

A bone-in Gammon Joint with a subtle maple glaze that enriches the meat's natural, sumptuous taste.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Cooking guidelines from defrosted: remove all packaging.
Allow the joint to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes prior to cooking.
Weigh the gammon to calculate cooking time. You will need approx 30 minutes per 450g. Oven: preheat oven to 180°C / 160°C fan / gas 4.
Place the gammon joint into a roasting tin, cover with greaseproof paper then foil.
Cook on the middle shelf of the oven for the calculated time. To glaze the joint remove it from the oven 15 - 20 minutes before the cooking time is complete.
Increase the oven temperature to 220°C fan.
Remove the coverings, score the rind and baste, then return it to the oven to finish cooking and glaze for the further 15 - 20 minutes or until juices run clear, you will need to baste occasionally.
Once fully cooked rest for at least 25-30 minutes before serving.

  1. Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C or below
  2. Defrost: Defrost in refrigerator for up to 48 hours. Do not re-freeze once defrosted
  3. Shelf life defrosted: Store in refrigerator and use within 24 hours
