Product description

The finest grass-fed British beef, marinated and slow-cooked for a beautifully tender roast. This Beef Shoulder Fillet is slow-cooked in a mouthwateringly rich marinade for six hours, for you to simply heat, slice and serve at your convenience.

HOW TO STORE

  1. Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C or below
  2. Defrost: Defrost in refrigerator overnight. Do not re-freeze once defrosted
  3. Shelf life defrosted: Store in refrigerator and use within 24 hours

INGREDIENTS

Beef (93%), water, lemon juice, sunflower oil, modified maize starch, salt, tomato puree, black pepper.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Cooking guidelines from defrosted: keep the joint in its packaging for 30 minutes at room temperature prior to roasting.
Preheated oven at 200°C / fan 180°C / gas 6
Remove the joint and place it into a deep roasting dish with all the liquor
Wrap loosely with greaseproof then tin foil and heat on the middle shelf of the preheated oven for 60 minutes.
Remove the foil, top up the liquid if required using a light beef stock, return to the oven and heat for a further 20-25 minutes, basting occasionally.

Remove from the oven when piping hot throughout, wrap with foil and allow to rest somewhere warm for 15 minutes.
Whilst the joint is resting, strain the gravy into a clean pan and finish to your liking and ready for serving with the beef.
Ensure product is piping hot throughout. Do not reheat once cooked.
